Why Don’t I Have More Repeat Customers?

With these challenging economic times I am trying to keep my business as stable as possible.  One approach for many business owners is to encourage customer loyalty so their customers will be more likely to repeat business.  However, I am unsure what drives customer loyalty so I am employing the services of a company that conducts customer service surveys to assist me in analyzing what part of my business needs to change to facilitate this kind of buying environment.

I thought about performing the surveys myself, however after doing some research I now understand that the psychology of the consumer is more complicated that I realized.  This company has decades of experience overseeing what kind of customer satisfaction surveys are most effective.  However, this company did allow me to create part of the survey as well.  But I decided to leave the work to the professionals.

I have gotten quite a bit of feedback from these customer surveys and have made changes in my business accordingly.  Since these changes have been in place I am definitely see an increase in repeat customers and I am glad to have had the opportunity to understand my consumer’s perspective.
