Since the dawn of their development and use, tattoos have sought to provide visual representation to those intangible values that grip us and steer our very actions. Religious tattoos, no matter which religion, carry within their symbolism not only the codes of the specific religion to which they belong, but also a personalized meaning and understanding, which adds a unique value to the art. Every person is different, and so every person’s interpretation of his or her own religion is entirely exclusive. Those values and beliefs cannot be measured by scales of any sort, and so find their value represented within the art. Heart tattoos depict a deep caring and understanding of another individual or idea, and similarly, because each person is different, so are his or her affections unlike those of any other person. Whether serving as a personal reminder or a declaration, such adornments depict strength and value in the intangible. In order to preserve that connection to the most inner portion of your core, your design must be allowed to properly heal; from there you will be able to enjoy your body art and draw from it the strength to continuously value the less obvious and most important aspects of your life.
