What are you going to do with your family this summer? It’s easy to get stuck in the same old routine but life is so much better when we shake things up.

Top ideas for interesting summer family activities include:

• Travel. The summer vacation is always a great choice for families. You can all swim with dolphins in Grand Cayman, shake hands with Mickey at Disneyland or simply go to visit the relatives.
• Explore your town. You don’t have to get away to have a vacation. Spend the summer visiting the museums, historic landmarks and wacky attractions in the place where you live.
• Projects around the house. Get the whole family involved in completing some DIY projects around the house. You’ll make some great memories while making your home a better place to live.
• Volunteer. It’s important for us to do what we can to help others. Find a place that you and your kids can volunteer together this summer to make the lives of others better while improving your own.
• Get an education. Is there something that everyone in the family wants to learn? A new language, some cooking skills or an unusual sport are all things that you could learn together this summer.
