A Son with Big Dreams
Dec 21, 2008
My son has dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. He’s not even in high school yet, but he definitely has big plans for the future. His grades have been pretty good, but it’s in baseball that he’s really excelled. He’s been playing on competitive teams since he was in the 2nd grade. As he grew older, I could see he wanted more, so I got him a membership at a local baseball academy after he went to one of their Florida baseball camps.
After a while, he started playing on one of the academy teams and is doing well. The school has really helped develop his skills. Whether he’ll ever make it into the big time, I don’t know, but I’ll be very happy if he can earn himself a college baseball scholarship someday. The school also have a strength and conditioning facility that he can use as he grows older.
The academy is serious about providing good coaching and training, not just in the immediate area. They provide the best franchise opportunities for people who want to do the same thing in other places. It’s a great chance for an individual to become a coach at his own baseball franchise. You can also learn to operate a retail store as part of the franchise.
